Job Title: Motor Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Motor Claims Specialist to join our team.

  • Manage a caseload of motor claims to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Negotiate liability with other insurers and third parties.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Monitor settlement performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with our policies, procedures, authority limits, legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • Deliver service that consistently exceeds member expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in motor claims settlements or claims handling.
  • Strong understanding of motor vehicle liability principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions based on evidence.
  • Empathy and professionalism when handling challenging conversations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • A team player who actively supports and uplifts others.
  • Previous experience in the motor insurance industry (highly regarded).
