We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our team in Civil Projects. This role involves ensuring the effective management and administration of contracts throughout the lifecycle of civil engineering projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing contract execution, managing contractual obligations, and mitigating risks. You will also be responsible for fostering positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the contracting process with new clients, ensuring all legal aspects are covered.
  • Develop and maintain processes for creating projects, including setting up files and ensuring contracts are signed and stored correctly.
  • Monitor project processes to identify shortfalls and develop robust procedures for improvement.
  • Identify and monitor project risks, reporting emerging issues to the Commercial Team.
  • Oversee project processes daily to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in scope, adhering to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Tender Coordinator on bids and tenders, developing scopes of work for each contract.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to maintain payment schedules, variations, and claims for projects on a monthly basis.
  • Perform quality assurance on a daily basis to ensure project standards are met.
  • Manage both external and internal stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • Support the project management team to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in contract administration or project management within the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Familiarity with contract management software and systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple contracts and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and delivering results.
