The Role

Are you an experienced Commercial Project Manager seeking a new opportunity in the dynamic and fast-paced construction industry? Look no further We are a leading construction company specializing in commercial buildings and industrial warehousing, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Project Manager to join our team.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with other Project Managers and oversee the delivery of commercial fit out/renovation and construction projects.
  • Engage with external consultants and oversee the approval process of development applications.
  • Understand and manage the DA approval process, cost, and delivery of each project.
  • Tender construction works with contractors.
  • Monitor all aspects of billings (electricity, rubbish, fit outs etc) and process purchase orders.
  • Ensure contractors meet their obligations
  • Communicate to Accounts Payable for billings regarding store maintenance & construction costs.
  • Lead and guide the construction team/foremen and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Any other ad hoc duties related to the role

Do you possess the below skills:

  • 2 + years experience in a similar position, preferably in a commercial and or industrial construction environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Demonstrated experience using Jobpac.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Tilt Up Panel Work
