Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage projects and environmental assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide visitor and stakeholder liaison, as well as conduct field-based activities including burn planning, wildfire management, and law enforcement.
  • Contribute to the compilation of reports and submissions, and maintain a balance between indoor and outdoor duties such as pest control, weed management, and fire prevention.
Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the field operations of the agency.
  • Current Australian Class C Driver's license or equivalent, enabling the operation of four-wheel-drive vehicles.
  • Willingness to participate in aerial surveillance and preparedness for incident management duties, including firefighting.
