Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Horticulturist Tradesperson to join our Open Spaces and Reserves team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing general horticultural maintenance programs according to specifications and budget.

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and motivate a small team, ensuring that team goals and objectives are achieved. A strong focus on work health and safety, risk management, environmental, and quality systems is essential for this role.

Key Requirements
  • Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent) and relevant work experience in the field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the supervision of staff, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proven good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to perform a range of physical labouring duties.
  • Class C driver licence with the ability to operate manual transmission and a good and safe driving record.
  • Current Chemical Application certificate.
Salary and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $61,500 to $70,500 (plus 11.5% superannuation), dependent upon skills, experience, and qualifications.
