Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a salary range of $72,900 to $83,600 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation), as well as a 9-day fortnight working arrangement and Fitness Passport membership options. In addition, we offer training and development opportunities, an inclusive culture, and a focus on our people's safety and wellbeing.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to support and empower a team of workers with low to medium support needs to contribute to the achievement of Council's nursery initiatives. The position will foster an inclusive environment, enabling the team to efficiently and effectively engage in nursery activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and supervise staff with low to medium support needs in a nursery setting.
  • Manage and maintain high-quality horticultural practices and standards.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of and commitment to quality assurance systems and processes required by Family and Community Services.
Requirements
  • Horticulture Trade certificate and previous experience in a relevant horticulture field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of a nursery and supervision of staff.
  • Proven experience in Disability Standard Employment requirements.
  • Sound communication skills, both written and oral.
