About the Role

The University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Nursing Professional to join our team. As a Lecturer in Nursing, you will be responsible for the development, delivery, and coordination of courses within our postgraduate nursing and midwifery programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials
  • Coordinate and assess student learning
  • Contribute to the development of academic programs and courses
  • Engage in scholarly and professional activities to maintain and develop expertise

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing and a Master's degree and/or PhD degree qualification in a relevant health discipline
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated contribution to the profession and/or disciplines of nursing
  • Demonstrated academic experience teaching students engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate health and/or nursing programs
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and understanding of global and national policies and priorities in health and nursing practice
  • Commitment to developing a culture of teaching and learning excellence
