Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in the Residential Construction industry. This role involves leading the finance function, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position that requires 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a construction background essential.
  • The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of full-function accounts and experience with MYOB.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a close-knit team environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare expense reconciliations, BAS/GST lodgement, cashflow forecasting, and project costings.
  • General journal and ledger management, continuous improvement of payment processes, and generating financial reports.
  • Asset management, HR, and operations support.
