Overview

Our client is a luxury residential construction company specialising in high-end homes and renovations. With a reputation for excellence, they take pride in delivering quality finishes and a five star service. Their commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction sets them apart in the industry.

They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team based in their Eastern Suburbs office. This is a Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm role (may look at a 3-4 day week for the right candidate).

This role will be primarily leading the finance function for the business, working closely with the external Management Accountant. This is a close-knit, family business, so there will also be aspects of the role covering general business operations administration and HR support. There may also be elements of client-facing activities such as customer support, calls / emails with their high end clientele.

Responsibilities
  • Full function AP & AR & payroll
  • Expense reconciliations
  • BAS/ GST & lodgement
  • Cashflow forecasting & project costings
  • General journal & ledger management
  • Continuous improvement of payment processes
  • Generating financial reports
  • Asset management
  • HR & Operations support
  • Other ad hoc requests & duties
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, construction background essential
  • Basic knowledge of full function accounts
  • Knowledge with MYOB
  • Good attitude and excellent communication
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Remuneration package up to $80k + super, depending on experience
