We are currently seeking a skilled Chocolate Moulding Line Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art chocolate moulding lines, ensuring quality control and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate complex chocolate moulding lines, including enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings, and tempering chocolate.
  • Responsible for end-to-end machine operations, ensuring quality control and adherence to GMP guidelines.
  • Organize packing staff on the end-of-belt packing process.
  • Follow set recipes and methods to create high-quality chocolates.
  • Mix and blend ingredients to prepare fillings for depositing.
  • Follow a production schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform consistent heavy lifting up to 25kg.
  • Clean down machinery and conduct line changeovers.
  • Manage paperwork and traceability.
  • Order stock as required.
Requirements:
  • A background in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the food and FMCG sectors.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Takes pride in their work and maintains a clean and organized workspace.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Quick learning attitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A strict attention to detail and quality standards, with the ability to adhere to Food Safety policies and standards.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and punctuality.
