About This Role

We are seeking an experienced production leader to oversee the operation of state-of-the-art chocolate moulding lines.

Job Overview

This position involves leading a team to achieve production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a small team to meet production goals and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Operate high-tech chocolate moulding lines, including enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings, and tempering chocolate.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to GMP guidelines throughout machine operations.
  • Organize packing staff at end-of-line packing stations.
  • Follow established recipes and methods to create chocolates that meet specifications.
  • Mix and blend ingredients to prepare fillings for depositing.
  • Perform frequent heavy lifting of up to 25kg during shifts.
  • Complete machine clean down and line changeovers efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of paperwork and traceability.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or FMCG.
  • Proven leadership or team management experience within production.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a quick learning attitude.
  • Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude with punctuality and reliability.
