This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in supporting adults who use family violence. The successful applicant will work closely with health services and specialist family violence services to develop and adapt resources to support their MARAM responsibilities.
About the RoleThe Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family Violence (SHRFV) initiative is currently being conducted at a regional health service through the Research and Innovation team, in collaboration with the Department of Health and Family Safety Victoria.
Hospitals and health services are aligning with the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework and this role will play a key part in supporting metropolitan and rural/regional health services across Victoria with the emerging practice change involved in working with adults who use family violence.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and adapt specialist resources to support health services to fulfill their MARAM responsibilities in regards to adults who use family violence.
- Work closely with health services and specialist family violence services to ensure alignment with the MARAM Framework.
- Support metropolitan and rural/regional health services across Victoria with the emerging practice change involved in working with adults who use family violence.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of family violence and its impact on individuals and communities.
- Experience working with adults who use family violence, including developing and implementing interventions and support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, particularly in relation to best practice in family violence response.
