Senior Aboriginal Leader | Family Violence Prevention

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Aboriginal Leader to join our team as a Therapeutic Team Leader in the Men's Family Violence program.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a team of group facilitators and case managers working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families impacted by Family Violence. The role requires proven experience working in Family Violence, solid understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice, and a Diploma or above in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement culturally grounded and trauma-informed programs to support community healing
  • Lead a team of group facilitators and case managers to deliver programs with cultural safety and integrity
  • Foster strong community connections and partnerships to ensure program effectiveness
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience working in Family Violence (essential)
  • Solid understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
  • Diploma or above in a relevant field (training support available for REQ 209)
