Therapeutic Team Leader

At our organisation, we are seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Team Leader to support community healing through culturally grounded and trauma-informed programs.

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who is committed to walking alongside Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander individuals and families impacted by Family Violence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of group facilitators and case managers, ensuring that programs are delivered with cultural safety, integrity, and strong community connection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement culturally responsive and trauma-informed programs to support the needs of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander individuals and families impacted by Family Violence.
  • Lead a team of group facilitators and case managers to deliver high-quality services and achieve program outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in Family Violence (essential)
  • A solid understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
  • No prior leadership experience required - training and ongoing support provided
  • A Diploma or above in a relevant field (training support available)
  • Passion for walking alongside mob on their healing journey
