Job Title: Financial Systems Specialist

  • Responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring the timely completion of month-end closing processes within SAP ERP.
  • Provides technical support for general ledger processes, reconciliations, and system issues.
  • Ensures the efficient operation of automated processes, manages change requests, and resolves incidents.
  • Collaborates with global support teams to implement system changes and enhancements.
  • Supports business-as-usual (BAU) initiatives and contributes to finance transformation projects.
  • Participates in user acceptance testing and system integration testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with SAP, particularly in general ledger and finance closing processes.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Alteryx) and Snowflake is highly valued.
  • Experience with forecasting/planning tools like Anaplan or Workday Adaptive is an asset.
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute broadly.
