Financial Systems Manager
The Financial Systems Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between finance and technology, ensuring seamless integration, reliability, and compliance of financial systems.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead the full lifecycle of finance applications, including planning, upgrades, patching, and security to ensure optimal system performance.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and success.
Ensure adherence to Technology and Security policies and governance to mitigate risk.
Monitor system performance and provide technical support for finance systems.
Application Integration:
Manage data flows and interfaces between satellite systems and core finance platforms to streamline operations.
Support finance users with file uploads/downloads and resolve integration issues to minimize downtime.
Finance Operations Support:
Oversee month-end processes, including subledger-to-GL reconciliations and TM1 rollovers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain the Chart of Accounts and train new finance team members on best practices.
Provide audit support and deliver performance reporting to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience managing finance or enterprise systems, upgrades, and application lifecycles.
Previous experience in a senior finance systems role with demonstrated financial analysis, systems analysis, and project management skills.
A strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and risk management to drive business success.
Able to operate comfortably in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
