Job Title: Financial Systems Expert

The job involves leading a team in delivering operational transformation initiatives that impact the Oracle Fusion platform. This role requires troubleshooting issues, developing business requirements, user acceptance testing, and training for system release and general ledger mapping updates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure end-user requirements are met through scheduled change releases and projects.
  • Drive changes and enhancements to in-scope systems to resolve end-user problems and improve efficiency and quality of general ledger data.
  • Liaise with technology teams to assist with high customer impact production problems as a result of batch failures within product systems.
  • Contribute to the attainment of objectives and plans as an active member of the wider finance division.
  • Develop and drive a strategy of continuous improvement for the team and accountable processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • A business degree is desirable.
  • Professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants or Certified Practising Accountants Australia are desired.
  • Experience in product systems and GL interface designs is required.
  • Previous experience in insurance product systems, such as ClaimCentre, is preferred.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role is mandatory.
