
Expert Payroll Specialist

We are recruiting for two Payroll Officers to join our Finance team. You'll work closely with the Payroll Supervisor, other Payroll Officers, and the broader People and Culture team. You'll also collaborate with operational and support services teams across our organisation and liaise with external partners that support our payroll and time and attendance systems, and government agencies.
You will be processing a fortnightly payroll of approximately 2,500 employees and must be available to work in Epping Head Office on Wednesday and Thursday of pay week.
Your day will consist of maintaining and updating payroll masterfiles and employee records, interpreting time and attendance data in line with our Enterprise Agreements and policies, processing pay runs, terminations, redundancies, LSL, and back pays accurately, ensuring compliance with taxation, superannuation, and other statutory obligations, supporting payroll reporting for internal and external audits, identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies and errors, assisting with system testing and configuration documentation, contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives, and ensuring all payroll activities meet legislative and policy requirements.
