Job Description:

BESIX Watpac is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join their NSW Construction team on the New Shellharbour Hospital Project. This role involves liaising with senior personnel to ensure internal cost controls are maintained, arranging trade package tendering processes, and establishing efficient administrative systems.

  • Compile and approve tender documents
  • Issue documents and receive tenders
  • Compare tenders and submit recommendations for approval
  • Prepare contract documents for each trade package/subcontract
  • Administer project finances through cost management systems
  • Participate in monthly consolidated reporting
  • Arrange and administer variation claims, progress claims, and other financial matters under head contracts and trade packages/subcontracts
Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or equivalent experience. Additionally, they should have demonstrated experience in similar roles within the building construction industry. The successful applicant will also be able to communicate effectively at all levels, work collaboratively as part of a team, and demonstrate initiative and decision-making skills.
