National Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled National Procurement Manager to lead our procurement strategy, shaping the future of our supply chain.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in national procurement, with a proven track record of driving efficiency and cost savings across domestic and international supply chains.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and executing a national procurement strategy aligned with operational and commercial goals, as well as building and maintaining supplier networks that deliver quality, compliance, and value.
  • A strong knowledge of steel grades, specifications, and global sourcing markets is essential, along with commercial negotiation skills and a network of supplier contacts.
  • The role requires strategic thinking, operational awareness, and leadership capability, as well as the ability to manage procurement across multiple sites and coordinate national logistics.

Requirements:

  • Senior procurement or supply chain experience in a national manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in the steel industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, commerce, engineering, or similar (preferred).

This is an executive-level role offering the opportunity to shape procurement strategy, lead a small team, and drive performance across domestic and international supply chains. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in leading procurement teams.
