Risk Governance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Governance Lead to join our Technology Core team. As part of this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing, monitoring, and governing Technology-related risks, including software development and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Global Head of Engineering to establish best practices for managing the software development lifecycle and develop strategies for proportionate risk management and governance.
  • Define minimum requirements for risk management, oversee governance and compliance with technology policies and standards, and design automated metrics for data quality, exception handling, and risk management.
  • Escalate non-compliance issues to the Technology leadership team and Board, review standards for cohesion and effectiveness, and collaborate with Risk Management on assurance strategies.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess experience in compliance or risk management, ideally within technology, financial services, or a regulator. You should have strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills, along with the ability to influence decision-making and solve problems effectively.

Leadership skills to guide and motivate junior team members and the ability to analyze data and develop compliance strategies are also essential.
