Carpenter - Roofing and Construction Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Copper & Zinc Roofing Company. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing roof framing and timber construction for both residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform roof framing and timber construction for both residential and commercial buildings.
- Install and repair custom wooden doors and garage doors.
- Construct and install wooden benchtops and bartops.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans to meet design and structural requirements.
- Collaborate with other trades and project team members to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
- Ensure all installations and constructions are completed with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Carpenter, particularly in roof framing and timber construction.
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
- High level of attention to detail and craftsmanship in all tasks.
- Strong understanding of timber construction techniques, materials and tools.
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour and working at heights.
- Knowledge of various roofing systems and wood-framing techniques.
- Experience in custom door, garage door, benchtop and bartop fabrication and installation.
This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
