Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor adherence to national and state employment laws, modern awards, and enterprise agreements ensuring organizational excellence.
  • Provide authoritative advice on legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements to ensure best practice application.
  • Accurately calculate and advise on casual rates of pay and entitlements for employees, maintaining accuracy and fairness.
  • Set up and maintain payroll conditions, rates of pay, and entitlements in the payroll system, streamlining operations.
  • Evaluate payroll systems and configurations to ensure they meet regulatory and organizational standards, promoting compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance payroll processes and maintain data integrity, fostering collaboration.
  • Provide compliance guidance on candidate placements, contracts, and onboarding to key stakeholders, enhancing employee experience.
  • Act as a point of contact for workforce compliance-related queries from internal teams and stakeholders, providing excellent service.
  • Assist with audits and liaise with regulatory bodies as required, ensuring regulatory compliance.
