
Financial Industry Audit Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Assurance professional with a background in serving investment company industry clients to undertake assurance engagements. Our national Assurance Practice is renowned for its expertise and technical ability to provide top-quality products and guidance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting audit engagements for financial industry clients, specifically mutual funds, exchange-trade funds, closed-end funds, and collective investment trusts.
- Preparing and reviewing annual audit reports and acting as a direct liaison with managers, audit staff, and other related parties.
- Carrying out audits and assisting clients through the financial reporting process.
- Training and supporting audit staff accountants throughout engagements.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- 2-4 years of progressive audit experience in public accounting.
- Experience working on investment-based clients (Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds) is preferred.
- CPA license or working towards CPA is required.
