Consolidations and Reporting Specialist

The Consolidations and Reporting Specialist plays a key role in the closing process, assisting with corporate consolidation financial close, managing intercompany elimination and reconciliation, coordinating quarterly schedules, and providing support for drivers. This position is responsible for preparing timely consolidated financial statements and developing effective internal controls around the consolidation and close process.

This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Close Process Support: Assist with global monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to ensure timely completion of financial statements and footnotes.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare journal entries, roll-forwards, and support schedules for completion of financial statements and footnotes.
  • Reconciliation and Analysis: Reconcile intercompany and investment in subsidiary transactions and analyze foreign currency translation impact on financial statements.
  • Chart of Accounts Maintenance: Maintain global chart of accounts and identify areas for process improvements leveraging technology and automation for efficiency.
  • Audit Support: Assist with annual audits conducted by external auditors and ensure compliance with US GAAP on major accounting areas.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate positive customer service focus to internal and external customers.
  • SOX Compliance: Adhere to SOX compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • CPA or CPA track required, MBA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in consolidation, financial reporting, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, and multi-currency/FX.
  • Experience with financial consolidation systems, Oracle Cloud EPM FCCS a plus.
  • Public accounting/audit experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with multi-entity structures, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency translation.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
