The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking a Senior Program Officer to lead impactful programs that strengthen disaster resilience across NSW.

About the Role

This role is part of the Community Recovery Programs Branch and involves managing and coordinating the development and delivery of complex program initiatives. As a Senior Program Officer, you will:

  • Manage and coordinate research, expert advice, and stakeholder engagement to ensure programs are evidence-based, strategically aligned, and effectively implemented.
  • Lead high-level reports, project milestones, and other key deliverables to shape disaster management outcomes.
  • Cultivate partnerships with stakeholders to build safer, more resilient communities across NSW.
Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • A current unrestricted NSW drivers' licence.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies, and other events.
