Logistics Coordinator Role Overview

The Logistics Coordinator is a vital role within our organization, responsible for ensuring seamless container availability to meet forecasted cargo demand. This involves monitoring depot performance, including turn times, equipment repairs, and idle containers.

Key responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator include:

  • Ensuring the accurate reflection of container status and location in the Equipment Management System.
  • Providing management of general administration and reporting functions undertaken by the logistics controller.
  • Monitoring available stock versus bookings and providing daily management of depots.
  • Ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • At least 1-year previous experience in the Logistics industry.
  • Good computer skills with excellent understanding of Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitude.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
