Food Services Assistant Job Summary

As a Food Services Assistant, you will be responsible for contributing to the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Food Safety Program. You will provide quality food and beverages to meet residents' individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to menu planning to meet residents' needs and preferences
  • Preparation, serving, presentation and delivery of food and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program
  • General cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program
  • Assist with the monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
Requirements:
  • Food Handling Course
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire)
  • Experience in residential aged care food services
