About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pursuit and Proposal Lead to join our national Defence Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the capture phase and leading bid phase activities for environmental, engineering, and project management pursuits within the Defence sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with technical bid leads to manage the bid process and ensure timely delivery of high-quality documents.
  • Coordinate and write compelling content for submissions and presentations, showcasing AECOM's expertise and value proposition.
  • Lead bid strategy, review, and risk workshops to ensure effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • Maintain and develop a library of Defence pursuit collateral, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all submissions.

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in journalism, English, marketing & communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with Defence tendering experience being a plus.
  • A strong ability to build internal client relationships and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Commitment to obtaining and maintaining a Defence Security clearance.
