Job Title:

Health Support Professional

This role involves assisting Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in delivering high-quality care in Residential Aged Care settings.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering physiotherapy services in accordance with operating procedures and policies
  • Servicing RAC clients in accordance with treatment plans
  • Transporting residents to and from therapy gym areas or appointments
  • Setting up and packing away therapy gyms, including cleaning equipment
  • Collecting referrals and administrative tasks guided by physiotherapists
  • Ordering prescribed equipment
  • Running exercise groups or programs
  • Supporting initiatives to meet client or contract expectations
  • Consulting with physiotherapists on adaptations, changes, or progressions of treatment plans for clients
  • Participating in mentoring, supervision, and appraisals in line with policy and procedure
