This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our global team and work on complex civil/structural engineering projects. Our team is passionate about building and creating something new.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering civil/structural components and processes using relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs) and Design Control Check List (DCCL) and Design Review Notices (DRNs).
  • The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering. They will determine the appropriate use of various structural elements such as steel, wood, masonry, and concrete to ensure appropriate material is used based on load or stress requirements.
  • The selected engineer will originate and check complex structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and material requisitions. They will also analyze problems with conflicting design requirements, sketch ideas, and possible solutions.
  • Analyze and report on the suitability of unconventional materials, techniques, and/or difficult coordination requirements. Plan, coordinate, or prepare equipment, work, and material specifications, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
  • Prepare procurement and subcontract requisition documents and perform associated technical bid evaluations with award recommendations. Provide assistance to project and construction management in identifying and complying with project Civil/Structural requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project execution.

To excel in this role, you should be considered highly skilled and proficient in your discipline, a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of your area of specialization, resolving a wide range of issues in creative ways.

We require a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
