Senior Civil Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead our team in delivering exceptional civil engineering services.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for civil aspects of projects. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will ensure the unique and complex requirements of civil/structural aspects are met.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans for medium-sized civil engineering projects, utilizing advanced knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, road design, and pavement design.
  • Lead the design, development, modification, and evaluation of civil components and processes, adhering to relevant engineering standards and guidelines.
  • Review and approve critical engineering drawings, calculations, and bid summaries.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience, with registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). A background in civil engineering, preferably within mining and metals, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct independent civil work, requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of civil engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Lead project teams to deliver high-quality civil engineering solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
