The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all internal financial reporting responsibilities of multiple entities, including monthly management accounts.
  • Maintain oversight of all accounting matters, ensuring strong organizational discipline and controls over the general ledger and other accounting records are being monitored and maintained effectively.
  • Statutory reporting for all businesses, including but not limited to ABS, BAS, IAS, FBT, annual financial statements, tax returns, payroll tax, etc.
  • Attend to all tax compliance responsibilities of the businesses, as well as working with external advisors on tax planning processes and opportunities.
  • Management of the AP and AR functions.
  • Delivery of end-to-end payroll services, ensuring compliance and consistency with contracts, salary bands, and/or awards.
  • Management and analysis of insurances.
  • Property management reporting and analysis.
  • Champion process and procedure improvements across AP, AR, payroll, and tax functions.
  • Rollout business initiatives/strategies from the finance function.
