We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Financial Control, to join our team at Westpac Institutional Banking. This role plays a vital part in providing financial control support, advice, and solutions to all business units within WIB and Group Treasury Finance.
Key Responsibilities:- Critically evaluate the financial accounting treatment and control outcome for each new project/product impacting WIB Finance.
- Support the business in driving a strong control culture and awareness in day-to-day business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Assist in deep dive initiatives to close out control gaps identified in activities performed across WIB and Group Treasury Finance.
- Ensure the quality of statutory reporting monthly data generated for the wider WIB and Group Treasury Finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your expertise in financial control and contribute to the success of our organization.
What You Need:- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the banking function.
- Strong knowledge of institutional banking products and accounting principles.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Influencing and negotiating ability.
- Curiosity and a positive mindset.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $150,000 per annum, plus additional benefits.
