Job Summary

Sofitel Darling Harbour is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our In-Room Dining and Minibar team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of ambassadors to provide exceptional luxury experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Organize and control the day-to-day operation of In-Room Dining and Minibar.
    • Assist the Assistant Outlet Manager in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
  • Outlet Operations
    • Ensure the outlet is set to the required standard, following departmental procedures and checklists.
    • Demonstrate the 'Passion for Excellence' through serving guests with flair and professionalism.
  • Training and Development
    • Assist the Outlets Manager with the training and development of all ambassadors.
    • Maintain a detailed training log.
  • Guest Experience
    • Follow up on all guest comments, requests, and complaints.
    • Inform the Supervisor and Assistant Manager of all such matters.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain storerooms to ensure tidiness and adequate inventories.
  • Departmental Grooming
    • Lead by example in regards to departmental grooming and attitude towards the customer.

Requirements

  • Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • 1-2 years experience within a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Always display a professional appearance, representing our Sofitel brand.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.
  • Hold a current RSA certificate.
