About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at InLife Independent Living. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to live independently in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Client Needs: Provide personal care and support to clients with physical disabilities, including manual handling and PEG feeding.
  • Build Rapport: Develop strong relationships with clients and their families, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with Care Teams: Work closely with healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Transportation: Safely transport clients using their own vehicles, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Varied Shifts: Work a range of shifts, including sleepovers, day support, and in-home evening support, to meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in supporting individuals with physical disabilities, including manual handling and PEG feeding.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Qualifications: A valid driver's license and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
