Brewing Area Manager
Job Description:The Brewing Area Manager plays a pivotal role in driving technical excellence within the brewing process. Reporting to the team lead, this position involves defining, building, and implementing new processes, establishing robust standards that align with Good Operating Practices and Process Technical Specifications.
This individual must drive the implementation of process standards and control measures to optimize brewing quality and performance. Leading and managing process changes, ensuring adherence to change management principles and procedures is key. Analyzing brewing data and performance metrics to identify improvements, address technical issues, and ensure alignment with brewing standards is essential.
Developing and mentoring shift teams in brewing practices, fostering a proactive and engaged team culture is crucial. Collaborating with brewing teams to define and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions is vital. Monitoring process changes and analyzing outcomes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency is necessary.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, supporting a safe and sustainable workplace is paramount.
Requirements:- Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field are beneficial.
- Completion of formal brewing training such as the IBD program, with demonstrated expertise in brewing processes is required.
- Proven ability to lead change and manage process improvements effectively is essential.
- The ability to influence key stakeholders in new process implementations is vital.
- Excellent communication skills to engage and influence across teams are necessary.
- A proactive approach to health and safety with knowledge of environmental best practices is required.
