Distribution Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Technical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a tight-knit team of technical specialists and asset technicians in maintaining specialised assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair HV and LV overhead and ground-mounted equipment, including reclosers, air break switches, and regulators.
- Perform power quality data logging, transformer tap changing, and earthing systems testing and audits.
- Work with various engineering monitoring and control communications systems.
- Trade-qualified Electrician (Cert III in Electrotechnology).
- Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence.
- Proven ability to determine effective and efficient ways to achieve results.
- Flexible work arrangements, including a 9-day fortnight.
- 20 days of annual leave per year, plus an additional 3 days between Christmas and New Year.
- Electricity discount of 16.66%.
- Ability to participate in regular overtime and the on-call roster.
- 17.5% leave loading (paid annually).
