AR Credit Control Specialist

Omnicom Media Group is a leading media agency network with a strong presence in Australia. We are seeking an experienced AR Admin Officer to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity.
About the Role- Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for collecting all monies owed in alignment with assigned credit terms and managing aged debt with clear invoice status updates.
- You will obtain debtor payment confirmations and update the cash forecast monthly, working closely with business directors to resolve account queries and non-payment of accounts.
- Applying for debtor insurance as required, you will assist with the review of debtor insurance limits and monitor and manage invoice adjustments until unpaid invoices are cleared from the ledger.
- You will also assist with banking and receipting, send debtor statements monthly, and maintain the general credit control mailbox.
- Assisting the AR team with month-end close-off, reporting, and ad-hoc duties, you will work longer hours where necessary to achieve department and individual deadlines.
- Maintaining a positive rapport with internal and external clients, you will be passionate about the credit function and seeking growth in this area.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
- Results-driven and willing to learn in all areas of credit control.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management and organizational skills are a must, as well as a can-do attitude, attention to detail, and a keen eye for problem-solving.
- Excel skills are required.
