Job Title: Credit Control Officer

MAYDAY Recruitment is seeking a skilled Credit Control Officer to join a pioneering company in aesthetics that is dedicated to excellence and innovation.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid grasp of credit control, a keen eye for detail, and a professional approach. You will have a crucial role and be responsible for chasing up overdue payments via telephone and email, resolving customer queries and issues, reviewing credit applications and references.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process new customer accounts in accordance with company SOPs, working manuals, and policies
  • Perform periodic credit and compliance review on existing customers
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and send customer outstanding invoice statements
  • Process customer payments and ad hoc AR reconciliation
  • Escalate issues to Finance and Operations Head for resolution
  • Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Accounts Receivable function and processes, customer experience, and service to the business
  • Provide credit analytics and internal business partnering
  • Provide overall support of the sales team and back office team and to meet company sales targets by answering phones, checking and replying to emails, greeting guests and couriers as required

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Professional phone manner
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working within a busy, fast-paced environment
