Support Participant Goals

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis, reporting to the Management Team.

The role involves supporting participants with opportunities to reach their individual goals through meaningful activities in our Centres.

This position is suited for those who promote independence and inclusion in society of people with disability or developmental delay, and support individuals to have a voice, choice, and exercise control over their own lives.

Key Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Disability Support, Individual Support, Aged Care
  • AUSLAN Skills
  • Commitment to supporting and promoting individual needs of our participants
  • Ability to develop positive relationships and support individual care plans
  • 2 years experience in supporting clients with disabilities and challenging behaviours
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including morning, afternoon and night shifts
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Check, First Aid Certificate & CPR, National Police Check
