Home Care Assistant Required

We are seeking a skilled Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Sydney and surrounding areas.

About This Role

The successful candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, providing assistance with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and monitoring medication. They will also help with shopping, preparing meals, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transporting clients to appointments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients
  • Transport clients to medical appointments and other destinations
  • Monitor and manage medications according to client needs
Requirements
  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Australian Driver's Licence
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
