About Conservation

We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Conservation Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for an early-to mid-career professional looking to enhance their experience and skills in Major Donor Fundraising.

The primary goal of this position is to generate philanthropic support from generous individuals to conserve Australia's endangered wildlife and make a positive impact on its future.

You'll work alongside a talented team of conservation professionals committed to raising funds for conservation. Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting, building and stewarding a portfolio of mid-to-major supporters
  • Writing winning proposals
  • Organising bespoke supporter events in unique locations

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for saving Australia's wildlife
  • Experience engaging with high-net-worth individuals and senior decision-makers
  • Outstanding presentation skills and ability to inspire audiences
  • Excellent organisational skills, including managing complex events and meeting deadlines
  • A willingness and ability to travel to capital cities and AWC sanctuaries
