Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager

About the Role:
NHP is seeking an experienced professional to join our Finance team as an Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Concur, and general administration services.
Key Responsibilities:
- People Management: Manage, guide, and coordinate shared services team members; promote effective teamwork; support team members and drive continuous improvement.
- Accounts Payable: Oversee the entire accounts payable process ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and adherence to company policies.
- Credit Control: Work alongside the credit manager to ensure credit control practices are embedded within the collections team.
- Financial Regulations: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls in all financial transactions.
- Cash Management: Provide short-term and long-term cash requirements to optimize the company's cash position.
- Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support financial aspects of business activities, providing insights and financial analysis as required.
- Team Development: Supervise and develop shared services team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the department.
- Concur Management: Manage corporate credit card management and establish company employee expense policies, including adherence.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce/Business degree.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, management, and influencing capabilities.
- Analytical Skills: Detailed-oriented, strong analytical, and organizational skills.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively across organizational lines and have strong verbal and written skills.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred but not essential.
