About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to oversee the functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Concur, and general administration services. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient provision of services to support the effectiveness of day-to-day operations of the NHP Group.
Key Responsibilities- People Management: Manage, guide, and coordinate shared services team members; promote effective teamwork; support team members and drive continuous improvement.
- Accounts Payable Process: Oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and adherence to company policies.
- Credit Control: Work alongside the credit manager to ensure credit control practices are embedded within the collections team.
- Financial Regulations: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls in all financial transactions.
- Cash Management: Provide short-term and long-term cash requirements to optimize the company's cash position.
- Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support financial aspects of business activities, providing insights and financial analysis as required.
- Team Development: Supervise and develop shared services team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the department.
- Concur Management: Manage corporate credit card management and establish company employee expense policies, including adherence.
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce/Business degree.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, management, and influencing capabilities.
- Analytical Skills: Detailed-oriented, strong analytical, and organizational skills.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively across organizational lines and have strong verbal and written skills.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Software Skills: Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred but not essential).
