About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for providing essential support, coordination, and administration to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payments and manage accounts payable in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reconcile supplier statements and credit card transactions
  • Set up and manage vendor accounts
  • Complete weekly, fortnightly, and end-of-month payments
  • Act as a key contact for suppliers and communicate with customers via phone, email, or mail
  • Prepare and send reminders and manage customer information
  • Prepare bank deposits and manage the AP and AR inbox
  • Perform general data entry and administration tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in a similar position and a proactive and deadline-driven nature. You will also need to have high levels of attention to detail and flexibility to take on additional tasks as required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.

A Diploma or equivalent in bookkeeping and/or accounting is preferred, along with experience with Microsoft Business Central and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
