The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team in Australia. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying leads, and building relationships with potential clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and Identify Potential Leads
- Utilize various channels to identify potential leads, including cold calling, emails, social media, events, etc.
Generate and Qualify Outbound Leads
- Engage with decision-makers through calls, emails, LinkedIn, or any other platform to introduce the company's offerings.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client challenges, pain points, and needs.
Build and Maintain a Pipeline of High-Quality Leads
- Meet daily and monthly lead-generation goals by leveraging tools such as CRM software, email marketing tools, and prospecting platforms.
Collaboration with Sales Teams
- Schedule qualified meetings or demos for the sales team members.
- Provide detailed notes and insights on prospects to the sales team to optimize the sales process.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field (internships or early-career roles are welcome).
- Experience with CRM and sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach) is a plus.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take the initiative.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Resilience and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
- Fluent in English. Another language is an advantage.
