Job Title: Cyber Security Operations Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Australian Defence security framework and associated policies and procedures, including familiarity with the Australian Cyber Security Centre Information Security Manual.

You will be responsible for evaluating and responding to emerging security issues, analyzing and documenting information security events, and identifying root causes, prioritizing threats and recommending corrective actions.

In addition, you will participate in the creation of security policies, audits, assessments, and deliver sound and timely information security design advice.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of developing and implementing information security practices in an engineering environment, as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills.

A relevant industry-recognized information security qualification (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, IRAP, DRAP, etc.) and/or relevant experience is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of the Australian Defence security framework and associated policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with the Australian Cyber Security Centre Information Security Manual
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Relevant industry-recognized information security qualification (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, IRAP, DRAP, etc.) and/or relevant experience
  • Defence Security clearance to NEGATIVE VETTING 1 or above required
