Job Title: Cyber Security Operations Lead

As a key member of our Cyber Security Practice, you will lead frontline defence operations within our Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC). Your expertise will be instrumental in protecting customer High Value Assets (HVAs) and driving continuous improvement across incident response, monitoring, and threat intelligence.

You will manage a high-performing SOC team, oversee security monitoring, incident response, threat intel, and reporting. Additionally, you will act as a technical escalation point and guide cyber incident response, run team meetings, manage rosters, and drive capability uplift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage a high-performing SOC team, ensuring customer HVAs are protected following the most relevant best practices.
  • Security Monitoring: Oversee security monitoring, incident response, threat intel, and reporting to ensure timely and effective response to emerging threats.
  • Cyber Incident Response: Act as a technical escalation point and guide cyber incident response to minimize business impact.
  • Capability Uplift: Run team meetings, manage rosters, and drive capability uplift to improve tools, processes, and service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3+ years in a SOC or similar operational security role.
  • Leadership Experience: 1+ years of people/team leadership experience.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Palo Alto, Carbon Black, and Zscaler.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of enterprise/cloud security and SIEM practices.
  • Communication Skills: Proven communication and problem-solving skills.
