About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team at Prouds Careers. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing second-level technical support and assistance to our stores, state offices, and head office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide second-level technical support for technical issues or queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Infrastructure Management: Facilitate the support and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.
  • Server Room Management: Oversee the administration and management support of our server room, including hardware configuration and organization.
  • IT Development: Provide ongoing IT support and development needs to the business, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships and projects with external stakeholders, including ISP and system and network infrastructure suppliers.
  • Documentation and Analysis: Document and identify detailed analysis in system implementations, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Network Server Support: Set up, maintain, and support network servers with appropriate contractors.
  • System Support: Support, maintain, and monitor all picking and stocktake scanning systems, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Pathway System Support: Provide support to the functionality of the Pathway system, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Business Continuity: Assist in presenting Cost Benefit Analysis and business cases to the Executive team or the Board in relation to infrastructure improvement plans or acquisition of system hardware.
  • Disaster Recovery: Assist in the implementation, documentation, and ongoing management of a business system disaster recovery plan.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional ad hoc duties required by the department, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years working in IT Support roles, with a strong background in technical support and infrastructure management.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with external key stakeholders.
  • Education: Relevant tertiary education in IT, with a strong understanding of IT systems, including MS Office, MS Exchange, and VMWare.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong team player with the ability to lead by example, self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
